Thanks so much for this, Whitney. I have a wonderful husband who knows the value of what I do and supports the choices I make for myself and our family. We also still pretty evenly share typical household duties, which I think is important for her to see as well.

I totally get what you're saying about the financial aspect, too, and I certainly have those things in place. This is such great advice for women in a stay-at-home position. Reentering the "workforce" (aside from freelancing from home) seems so far away, but I know it will go so quickly, so that's definitely something that's on my mind.
